AVI-SPL, the world’s leading digital enablement solutions provider, and SKC Communications, a leading provider of audiovisual (AV) and unified communications and collaboration (UCC) solutions, today announced they have closed their acquisition agreement and will merge as one under AVI-SPL. Integration of the two businesses and teams is anticipated to be substantially completed by March 31, 2022.
The acquisition of SKC Communications enhances AVI-SPL’s customer experience through deepened UCC voice expertise, stronger U.S. geographic presence, and more robust e-commerce sales. Together the deep experience and comprehensive expertise of the combined company will accelerate hybrid work and learning strategies and elevate user experience to ensure customers reap the rewards of the renewed digital workplace transformations.
To complement AVI-SPL’s already mature UCC practices with Cisco, Google, Microsoft, and Zoom, SKC Communications adds considerable expertise in advanced voice communication solutions, including IP telephony and contact centers, deep experience helping customers migrate to cloud-based voice technologies, and valued, long-standing partnerships with leading UCaaS providers like Avaya and Ring Central.
“We couldn’t have joined forces with a better team for our next phase of growth,” said John Zettel, CEO of AVI-SPL. “Organizations look to us to guide and optimize their UCC and workplace experience programs so they can realize the highest value from their technology investments. Together, we have the deepest portfolio and most advanced services available to customers over wider geographies.”
