Barco restructuring leads to three senior job losses

Barco has announced that it is going to redesign the company’s organisational structure in an attempt to “enhance market responsiveness” and “empower business unit execution of strategic priorities”.

The changes in the structure comes nearly two months after the appointments of co-CEOs Charles Beauduin and An Steegen, who replaced Jan De Witte. Three senior executives have lost their jobs as part of the changes.

Previously, the company worked with a matrix structure, with regional structures that handled sales, marketing and customer service functions, and business units in operational divisions.

Under the restructure, the regional sales teams will become part of the business units together with product management, and research & development.
