Weeks after announcing it would bring the Google Plus platform to a close, Google says it will hasten the end by several months following news of a November bug that exposed some user data for almost a week.
Google announced on Monday that it will expedite the “sunsetting” of its Google Plus social platform, as well as the platform’s developer API, after an investigation into potential data exposure caused by a bug last month.
