As it continues to grow in Austin, technology company Miro has leased three floors in the Colorado Tower office building in downtown Austin.
Miro said the expansion makes Austin the company’s largest U.S. hub and the second largest of its 11 hubs globally. Miro now has more than 1,000 employees across those hubs, which include its offices in Europe and Asia.
The company offers an online tool that allows teams to collaborate online using virtual whiteboards. Miro said its platform enables teams to lead workshops and meetings, design products, brainstorm ideas and more.
In the spring of 2022, Miro plans to move into 72,000 square feet of space in Colorado Tower at 303 Colorado St. The company will occupy floors 17, 18 and 19. Miro said it will invest in additional construction over the next four months.
The space currently has two outdoor decks, collaborative working spaces and other amenities, including bike storage and a cafe.
The planned move reinforces the company’s rapid growth during 2021.
