Video meeting firm Pexip to build Irish team

Pexip, the company that provides video-conferencing services to the Irish courts, is to expand its presence in Ireland by establishing a local team.

Leighton Hughes, the vice president of sales for the UK and Ireland, said the Norwegian company is putting boots on the ground to scout out more customers for its video calling platform. It currently has 50 customers in Ireland.

The company has hired a country manager, Niall Doyle, to lead the Irish operations.

“Niall is the first full-time head that we’ve got in Ireland to run the team. He’s our territory manager and we’ll be building the team under Niall,” he said.
