Westcon-Comstor has appointed John Nolan as its new managing director for UK & Ireland. He takes over from Antony Byford, who will now act as vice president in the newly formed Cloud & Collaboration business division.
In his new role Nolan will take over all operations for Westcon UK&I, leading a team of over a hundred sales, technical and operational professionals after having previously served as a sales director for the unit.
“John has been part of our UK&I team since 2005, working his way up the ladder in impressive fashion,” said Westcon-Comstor CEO, David Grant. “He’s been a great support to Antony and they’ve worked brilliantly together, growing the Westcon UK&I business over 50 per cent in the past four years. I have complete confidence in John, his understanding of the market and ability to act accordingly is second to none.”
