Edrington, a privately owned international spirits company based in Glasgow, Scotland, has implemented Neat devices with Microsoft Teams to simplify their meeting spaces and improve their hybrid work environment. The company, which has over 3,000 employees across 18 countries, was seeking a consistent, reliable, and user-friendly solution for their video conferencing needs.
After testing Neat’s devices, particularly the 65-inch all-in-one touchscreen Neat Board, Edrington decided to deploy multiple Neat devices across their organization. The company now uses Neat Bar Pro with Neat Pad, Neat Board, Neat Board 50, and Neat Center throughout their small, medium, and large meeting rooms. Employees have praised the intuitive nature of the devices, which has significantly reduced IT support tickets related to meeting room technology.
Edrington’s IT team highlighted several key features of Neat devices, including Neat Symmetry for greater meeting equity, Neat Boundary for maintaining focus in glass-walled rooms, and voice isolation for clear audio experiences. The design aesthetic of Neat devices also aligns well with Edrington’s ultra-premium brand image, providing a modern and elegant look in their meeting spaces.
The company manages its entire Neat deployment using Neat Pulse Pro, which allows them to remotely onboard and manage devices across all global locations from their Glasgow headquarters. This capability has proven particularly useful for managing devices in remote locations, such as the Wyoming Whiskey distillery, saving on travel costs and supporting Edrington’s carbon reduction goals.
Edrington is now encouraging all its brands worldwide to adopt Neat as standard practice, citing the simplicity and time-saving benefits of the devices. The IT team praised Neat’s constant software updates and compared the user experience to that of Apple products in the AV world.

Our Thoughts and Commentary
What’s not to like? A high quality Microsoft Teams experience powered by reliable, beautifully designed Neat devices offering strong ease of use, remote management, and power-features like Neat Symmetry and Neat Boundary. And, of course, video conferencing saves time, saves money, reduces stress, etc.
While I haven’t had the chance to put a Neat Board through its paces (hint hint, Neat – I’m game if you are!), I’ve tinkered with it at trade shows and like what I’ve seen. For teams that need to brainstorm and collaborate, the Neat Board is a solid choice.
But most of all, as a Macallan fan, I’m in favor of anything that lets the folks at Edrington focus on what they do best — creating world-class spirits. Bottoms up!
