Hands-on testing of a SIP/H.323 Cloud Video Interop service offering integration to Microsoft Teams calls.
Founded in 2009 and acquired by Verizon in 2020, BlueJeans by Verizon (“BlueJeans”) is a leading cloud video conferencing as a service (VCaaS) provider. The company’s current portfolio includes:
- BlueJeans Meetings – the company’s flagship cloud-based video bridging/collaboration service.
- BlueJeans Rooms with Dolby Voice – a portfolio of Dolby-powered hardware video conferencing systems.
- BlueJeans Events – a cloud-based webinar service that supports live content, audio, and video events for large audiences.
- BlueJeans Command Center – a web portal that provides real-time and historical meeting information and BlueJeans meeting control.
In September 2018, BlueJeans announced its Gateway for Microsoft Teams, a Microsoft Certified Cloud Video Interop (CVI) service that allows standards-based video conferencing systems to join Microsoft Teams meetings.
In September 2020, BlueJeans commissioned the Recon Research (RR) test team to perform an independent, third-party assessment of the BlueJeans Gateway for Microsoft Teams. This document contains the results of our hands-on testing.
